I studied accounting and business education before starting my career as a public high school teacher. I have been teaching computer education for over ten years at Middletown High School in Middletown, Connecticut. I have educated hundreds of students in computer programming, web page design, Microsoft Office products, Adobe Photoshop, computer networking, and computer maintenance and repair.
I enjoy my career in education yet also find it rewarding to design professional websites. I started designing sites for friends and family at their request and have since decided to expand my services to the general public.

Web Site Design
I will create a site that is professional and aesthetically pleasing. I will ensure that your site presents your business or personal idea the way you imagined. Before the actual work can begin though I will need to contact you with some questions so I can really get to know what you are looking for in a website.
You will of course need to provide me with all of the text to be included on your site. No one knows your business better than you so choose your wording carefully and consider the target audience of your site.
To further enhance the appeal of your design, I will add images. If you would like specific images or graphics such as a company logo you will need to provide those. If you prefer, I can add stock photos to your site for an additional fee.
Domain Name Registration
Your domain name is your Internet presence; it is how people will find your website. I will register the domain name of your choosing with the appropriate registration service so long as the name is still available. It is important to choose a good domain name so keep the following tips in mind:
It is also important to know that you don't own a domain name, when it is registered you are simply renting it for a period of time. Failure to continue paying your rent will relinquish your rights to that name allowing someone else to snag it. Domain name registration will incur additional fees.
Hosting
Hosting is simply storing your website and all its content on a computer that is connected to the Internet (a web server). When someone requests to view your website, the web server sends it over the Internet to be viewed on that person's computer. If you want your site to be available on the Internet then you will need to have it hosted on a web server.

Maintenance
From time to time your site will require updating. Updates may be as simple as a wording change or a contact update but they can also be complex such as adding images or hyperlinks. These updates can be billed at an hourly rate or if you prefer we can set up a monthly maintenance contract.
